The ETK I-Series is a mid-sized four-door executive sedan produced from 1985 to 1993. It is most likely based on BMW 5-series (E34). In 1990, the car underwent a facelift in which the color of direction indicators turned white and some minor modifications. The I-Series comes only with gasoline inline-six engines, which is either 2.4 liters or 3.0 liters.
Models[]
Early Models[]
The first versions of the I-Series came in 1985. The base model was called 2400, which means it had a 2.4 liter naturally aspirated engine with 131 PS. The 2400i version had the same engine but more expensive trim level. A more powerful version with a 3-liter engine was called the 3000i and it made 192 PS. All of those three models were available with with a 5-speed manual transmission and a 4-speed automatic with a locking torque converter. In addition to those, there was another version introduced in 1985, which was the performance version called 2400ti ttSport. It has a sport suspension and a 2.4-liter turbocharged straight-six making 206 PS and 295 Nm of torque. The ttSport version is only available with manual transmission.
AWD Models[]
The first AWD models came in 1987. 2400i, 3000i, and 2400ti ttSport became available with viscous coupled AWD system. AWD variants of 2400i, 3000i, and 2400ti were called 2400ix, 3000ix and 2400tix. In 1987, also a homologation model called "2400ti ttSport Evolution" was introduced, which was and upgraded version of the 2400ti ttSport. It has a more powerful version of the 2.4-liter turbocharged engine making 330 PS and 440 Nm, a 6-speed transmission, racing suspension, and Brigsby bodykit. The Evolution model is also available with AWD. All models introduced in 1985 and 1987 were manufactured until 1989.
1990 Facelift[]
In 1990, the I-series underwent a facelift in which the front turn signals were changed from orange to white, and some of the engines became slightly more powerful with minor improvements. The power of 2400 and 2400i models were increased from 131 PS to 142 PS, and the 3000i went from 192 PS to 201 PS. The turbocharged 2.4-liter engine from 2400ti(x) ttSport remained at 206 PS, and the homologation model 2400ti(x) ttSport Evolution was discontinued. The facelift models ware manufactured until 1993.

Special/Custom Variants[]
There are five custom versions of the I-Series in BeamNG.drive.
Street Tuned[]
The "Street Tuned" version is a custom built pre-facelift (1985-1989) 3000i. It has a custom turbocharger, racing coilover suspension, and 15 inch golden Adler Basketweawe wheels. It produces 351 PS which is even more than the ttSport Evolution models.
Drift[]
The custom drift version has a turbocharged 3-liter engine with 454 PS, a roll cage, Brigsby body kit, and a 6-speed manual transmission.
Track[]
The track version is an upgraded 2400ti ttSport Evolution with upgraded turbo, roll cage, stripped interior and a racing livery.
Rally[]
Rally ETK I-Series
The rally version has 2.4-liter turbocharged engine, roll cage, stripped interior, Dreid rally livery and all-wheel drive, which doesn't have viscous coupling like the stock AWD models.
Knallhart[]
The I-Series Knallhart is a highly modified high-performance custom version with 554 PS. Just like other performance models, it also has a 6-speed manual transmission, and the same racing AWD transfer case as the Rally version has. The Knallhart launches from 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) in just 4.1 seconds and it has a top speed of 319 km/h (198 mph).
